"this pharmacy refused to consider filling my prescription out in by my out of state practitioner because they would like me to establish care in MA, though I have been seeing this practitioner for 5 years. MA state law supports these existing relationships (recognizing that this is the best care model) by mandating that prescriptions from out of state practitioners for MA patients are allowed to be filled. This pharmacy does not support good care. Pharmacies exist to support our health, not to make independent decisions about where someone should get care, and should be required to follow state law. I would not patronize such a place. Like stores who decide they don't want to serve customers because they don't agree with their identity--same issue. SHAME on you."
