Reviews
"I rarely ever leave reviews however, here I am. Being born and raised in Maine, Amatos has always been a staple in my life, they always do me right. However, this time was awful. The woman at this location was very rude, she could clearly see me but didnt acknowledge me 4 different times until I finally spoke up. I wanted a veggie sub (Which is my usual and have never had any issues) it wasnt cut at all, there was no cheese on it, barely any mayo and this huge chunk of what I’m assuming is lettuce? I wont be going back to that location any time soon"
"Ordered a chicken finger sub with an expected pickup in 30 minutes, no biggie. When I arrived however they said they still need to make it, and I finally got my sub more than 20 minutes later, with my entire lunch break exhausted. I wouldn't have minded if they were busy, however I was the only person in queue the entire time. When people order ahead of time, they expect the food to be ready when they get there, not wait nearly double the expected time cause the workers dont know what they're doing. Do better!"
"I had a grilled chicken cesar wrap and it was so good amazing wrap not sure about the other stuff"
"I grew up on Amatos in the Portland Maine area. So I was excited to be close to one while traveling from Manchester airport as I was starving. They seem to have everything a free standing store does. My disappointment came when they handed me my Italian. The bread was so hard and overcooked. I immediately brought it back for a remake. The girl looked at me like I was wrong in asking that. She tried to locate better rolls but with no luck. She asked the manager on duty and his dumb response was you should see the rolls for the meatball subs we use. They are much harder. I then had to fight for my money back. This place is a shame and the Realis would be disappointed to associate there name to this. Drove the hour back to Maine and get the correct way In Biddeford. I wish I had a pic of the garbage they were trying to pass off. The attached is of a good one I got."
"Been a few times because I LOVE Amatos. This however is not Amatos. First time I went they asked what I want on my Italian, I said everything, oil on the side. They put mayonnaise on it. Who in the world wants mayo on an Italian? The next time I went I tried the pizza... The pizza crust was absolute garbage. I question if it is actually Amatos dough. Amatos in Maine... Soft fluffy crust with all their high quality ingredients. Here? As others have said it's like cardboard. Either not proofed enough or they are using some garbage frozen dough. Someone get in here and fix this place."
