"We stopped off for a late lunch. My spouse had the grilled ribeye,and I had one pork chop. Both came with vegetable and mashed potatoes. Excellent all around. Now there are places that mashed potatoes are okay, you write home about these, smooth, soft and buttery!"

"The total dining experience , the way dining was years ago . The restaurant is located in a residential neighborhood on a small lake , and is a classic extremely well kept building memorabilia on the wood panel walls a trip back in time with all the waiters wearing white shirts and bowtie we went on a Saturday evening early and the restaurant was already in full swing , the meals were excellent the service was great I had the sirloin steak my guest had prime rib with a Caesar salad with anchovies. Which I happened to love. We also had asparagus, roasted potatoes, and ravioli . I was unable to eat anymore, however but my guests had warm apple crisp à la mode& in an Oreo chocolate sundae, was a great evening with good friends will be back"

"Really vintage atmosphere. The panoramic view of the water during the day is amazing. The Ribeye was delicious and probably one of the best I’ve had in a while. The food is always fresh and the service is A1. Definitely worth checking out."

"Twin Oaks is a Rhode Island tradition, and it’s great reputation is well deserved. I went fir the first time in 30 years, when I came back for a visit. As always, the place was quite crowded, but you never feel crammed in. Right from the moment you come in, you are greeted and welcomed. We were quickly seated and drinks were served. Appetizers were ordered and delivered quickly, and they were all great. We had the hot wings, calamari and scallops in bacon. We then ordered a variety of foods. I got the Italian special which had veal, a meatball and sausage. All of this was great. I was a bit surprised that the pasta seemed to be boxed, as opposed to fresh made, but it was all good. The servings are MASSIVE. I took home more than I ate while I was there. The server we had was fantastic. He was friendly and attentive. The assistants were also great, providing water very quickly, and plenty of refills. Overall, it was an exceptional experience. Normally, when I see a large menu, with an array of cuisines, I get a bit nervous, but somehow these guys pull it off fantastically."
