"It was my first time trying Gnocchi, but it wasn't good. My friend and I only had 2 bites. Salad and calamari were okay. Good service, though. The place was already packed at lunch on a weekday."

"Avvio has become one of mine and my husband’s new favorite restaurants due to the great food, wonderful service, and delicious cocktails! The espresso martinis are one of the best I have EVER had!!! Trisha was absolutely AMAZING!! She gave us the perfect amount of attention and informed us about the rewards program that we were unaware of. She was very pleasant and anticipated all of our needs. We most certainly will be back and hope to have Trisha as our waitress!"

"Enjoyed my first visit for lunch today during a busy holiday shopping time and had a wonderful experience. Attentive and thoughtful service. The tomato bisque was excellent. I also had the turkey sandwich which was a hearty portion and delicious. My only area for improvement was the french fries as they seemed undercooked and could have been better. My friends each got pizza which they both also enjoyed. Will definitely be back!"

"Though the restaurant seemed just a bit noisy, everything else made up for it. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, informative, helpful, and very professional. Everyone else we dealt with was of equal high caliber. The food was superb and completely justified the price. Prices on the wine seemed a bit steep, but I will go back there again."
