"VG is always better choice than business-promoting, immature, xx-times, in the sense to gather the comments from their readers. VG many times decline to feature the stories worth to be shared earliest to the readers and the island residents, in the urgent time manners. Their investigation stories then are written only after the manipulation was done while the public was unaware. It is safe(r) for them to investigate-report the hot issues after the issues are heated. Well, no one reads the editor's report story after the topic is shelved. I do not think VG today truly represents or features the island community, actively giving up their "timely" insight roles, this way. (-1) VG, today, is more entertaining with short daily anecdotes articles, for "good-hearted, outspoken, and, intelligent" commentors, and, readers. Looking closely, through, the on-line comments, (or the rate of unselected comments) it seems VG intends to feature the feel-good comments for the equally wish-to-feel-good readers, perhaps. That almost looks like their attempt to make their good, Yankee Image-making. I strongly feel it is not representing all demography of the islands. (-1) Some of the tones in their articles are coded and ambiguous, but, usually, they remains neutral. It is relatively "better read" as the other media reads quite poorly."
