"I booked a trip and paid in full - $3900 to The Travel Club to go to Memphis and Nashville in May 2020. The trip was cancelled due to COVID. The subcontractor the TC worked with Conway Travel went bankrupt but the TC is not returning calls or giving our money back even though they settled with the receiver. I sent my complaint to the Mass Attorney General’s office and the Tc will not respond to their calls or correspondence. They owe me and other people money and they are not acknowledging our requests. I had an agreement with TC and paid them the money and they should reimburse me."
"Used the Travel Club before. Love their trips."
"Marie and I went to Italy in September with the Travel Club. We were completely amazed by the careful planning of the venues we visited, the caliber of the in country guides, and most of all the convenience of the overall experience where we could just sit back and enjoy."
"It was the worst vacation ever. We went to Biltmore and the Great Smokey mountains. 2 days to get there. That was expected. However , the shuttle driver never let us know that he was there. No signage at all. If I had not begun to worry, and approached him, he would have left without us. AND... he did not have a clue where he was going. We finally, after 6 hours, got on the bus and headed towards our destination. First night restaurant was Cracker Barrel. Terrable food and obnoxious people. Arrived at Gatlinberg. Late on the second day. Had about 15 minutes till dinner. It was catered and it was terrable..let me say, all the food was fast food and greasy and disgusting .. Final night excluded. Went to Biltmore. 2 hour drive to get there. Only 4 hours to see SOME of it. Another 2 hours back. We spent more time on the bus than anything else. Why we stayed so faraway is beyond me. Everyone on the bus was complaining . We had at the most, 1 hour per day to ourselves. Shows galore. Too many. Some worth seeing, some not. Food was terrible . Gatlinberg was just a tourist trap. Nothing special at all. Smoky mountain BUS trip was boring. Barely off the bus. To top it off, our travel guide new nothing of the area and was downright condescending to us the whole time. Oh, our return shuttle driver, a different one, also did not know where he was going. Kept missing exits so it took us until 11: 00 pm to get home. Do Not Take This Trip"
"The Travel Club has met or exceeded my expectations for 30 years! I've also traced on my own and with other travel groups...I keep coming back to the Travel Club. They truly are a club that cares about the members experience. I know they take the feedback provided after each trip and consider changes that would make the trip even better. For some reason the fellow travelers in these groups are friendlier and more interesting than those I meet on other group trips. I've been to Italy, Paris, London, Costa Rica, Morocco, Greece and NYC with them so I've pretty much sampled most of what they offer."
