"Being able to sail the boat that won the America’s Cup is a thrill. Still a beautiful fast boat. Great, friendly crew"
"It was an amazing experience with America's Cup Charters. They made our evening wonderful with a great sailing. Very well demonstrated the expertise with a fabulous hospitality and friendly engagement with all of us. Well-Done Shivani and the team...!"
"What a great experience! Captain Mike is a total pro and literally runs a tight ship. Sailing on a historic boat was a real treat. He schooled us on racing, sailing techniques and the America's Cup. I'd love to go back for another sail. The whole thing was well run from reservations, check-in, boading, sailing and disembarkation. I highly recommend this if you can get a spot on a sailing."
"Overall positive experience, but be aware that this is not an experience where you can sit back and relax. They book 14 people on the boat, but there are only seats for about 8 people, meaning 6 people have to sit on the front bow of the boat, constantly avoid the sail swinging over your head, brace yourself when the boat tacks and tips 45 degrees, and generally hold on so you don't fall off too. I would not recommend taking any children under the age of 8 on the boat as it's hard to manage them and all the to-dos on the bow. This was a much more physical experience than I was looking for. Because our group was made up of younger people, it was assumed we would not get the actual seats for the entire 2 hour trip. The crew was nice and we did enjoy the trip overall. One of the crew members showed our son how to tie knots, which he really enjoyed. The crew gave you opportunities to participate in the sailing too, which was a nice option. Other reviews mention narration and tours but I'm assuming that's something the people over in the seats got to hear, nothing that we were told. We walked away having had a good time, but a bit exhausted and definitely thought we should warn others that this is a very physically active experience, at least for those who don't get a seat and spend the trip on the bow."
"This sailing experience was amazing and super fun for our whole family! I totally recommend coming here if you are visiting Newport. The crew was great, friendly, and very knowledgeable!"
