Monadnock State Park Visitor Center

The Monadnock State Park Visitor Center is located in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, United States. This travel agency is situated in and around the 3,165-ft. Mount Monadnock, which was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1987. The park offers year-round recreational opportunities and is surrounded by thousands of acres of protected highlands.

Please note that Monadnock State Park sells out on weekend days from April to November, and day-use reservations are strongly recommended to guarantee a parking spot. Visitors without reservations will be turned away when the park is full, and parking elsewhere and walking into the park is not allowed.

The park offers designated spaces for plate/pass holders on a first-come/first-serve basis, but reservations are encouraged in case the park reaches capacity. NH Senior Citizens can receive a discount at certain locations by entering the number of seniors in the vehicle/occupant information section of the order details page.

Camping is only allowed in designated campsites, and camping on the mountain is against state law. Out-of-state firewood is prohibited, but firewood is available for purchase at the park stores. Youth group camping reservations can be made via the Reserve America Call Center.

Youth and school groups must call the park directly at least 2 weeks prior to arrival to make reservations. Pets are not permitted in the park, including all trails and areas within Monadnock State Park boundaries.
