"Scheduling a delivery was pretty straight forward, however, I ordered 10 yards of 50/50 compost/loam and there were far too many rocks, larger sticks/wood pieces and foreign material for "screened" loam. I needed to topdress a new seeding and now I'm going to have to find a way to remove all the debris left behind. I'll have to search around for a local place that does 1/4 in. screened high quality top soil for the next lawn project."

"Very disappointed. Twice they’ve made deliveries without calling first all the while saying they did. They’ve tried to deliver on wrong day only for me to tell them to look at the printed order. Tried their firewood, yeah that looks like it’s been sitting in a pile rotting for a year and a half. They were great at one time, unfortunately I think they’ve gotten too big for their own good. Time to find a new small local business that wants my business."

"Avoid using these guys at all costs. The will push blame on everyone else and take no responsibility. I ordered 20 yards of pine bark mulch from them. This mulch is completely different then the previous 80 yards I've ordered. They have significant consistency issues. The manager Maurice said quote " I don't check every spec of mulch" and "Call G-Lopes that's where we get our mulch from". If the mulch was even close I wouldn't be complaining but its completely different. He actually blamed G-Lopes and said they didn't "Cook" it enough because the demand is so high... This shouldn't be my problem. There is plenty of other better places to get material."

"I just want to thank J and J and Fall River employee, Guida, for exceptional customer service. I called about a repair to a table and she went above and beyond in looking for resources to help me resolve my issue and was so friendly and polite. Guida called me back after thoroughly researching solutions. Then when we realized I needed to go another route, she went out of her way to continue to search. Employees like Guida are a credit to any company. Customer service like this is a dying art and I will remember J and J in our future projects. Thank you!"
