"It has been 2 weeks since my 5 month old puppy nearly died from heat stroke while at Coastal Canine Resort daycare. I have left emails and called numerous times. I have spoken to Corey the day manager who assures me that the Corporate Regional Manager has been contacted yet not one person has reached out to me. My puppy had a core body temperature greater than 107 degrees on 6/30/23. I took her to my vet who had started cooling her but had me take her to Port City Emergency. My puppy was hospitalized for 2 days, received blood products, fluids and medication. That not one person has had the decency to contact me is appalling. I am writing this to warn others that this facility is run by a corporation (whose identity is hidden) and they do not care about your pets or you."

"Our Golden LOVES it here. When we go to drop him off for daycare he doesn't even think twice about mom and dad dropping him off, he runs right back behind the desk to greet them! The staff is kind, friendly, and very caring of our boy. I love that they have a pool for them in the summer time!"

"Our dogs love it here. Our little dog goes for daycare a few times a week and once he sees the sign on the main road he gets so excited! Our older dog had serious issues with other places for boarding but doesn’t mind coastal canine at all! She gets great one on one time (she is a senior and can’t to daycare anymore) and she always is happy to go to coastal when I travel. Everyone is so accommodating even with last minute plans. I tell everyone to try coastal out! You will not be disappointed. My “fur kids” love this place and the staff!"

"We were passing through on vacation (August 2019) and called ahead a few days to book a spot for our dog. All good. Drop off no problem. Picked our dog up the next morning and found cuts, abrasions, blood, and an injured front leg (whined when touched) when we got back to our place. Immediately called to inquire about the stay and was met with general no way that could have happened on our watch, not possible, dogs are constantly monitored, etc., from the owner. Sent photos of the injuries shortly after the call and my wife followed up and got the same rude and dismissive owner...no way that could have happened here. Our dog was fine when we dropped her off so our main question was if we should see a vet because of a fight, or had the dogs just played rough and ours was on the receiving end. We’re up that way relatively often. Won’t ever visit this place again."

"It is very clean. The staff treats my pup kindly and he loves going. He has stayed over numerous times and we use the day care at least 2 times a week. I have a young goldenretriever who needs extra exercise."
