"My dog is very weary of people. She loves other dogs, but people make her bark and run away. She was a rescue, and despite taking her to training and socializing her every day since we got her a year ago, she's still very nervous around people. I was concerned with leaving her at a kennel for a week while we went on vacation. I googled a bunch of places, checked out a couple, and became even more concerned with leaving her. I didn't want to scar my poor dog and make her even more afraid of people by the time we picked her up. So I asked her vet who they'd recommend. They said east bay Kennel. The staff seemed nice and like they really care about the animals, unlike some of the other places I checked out. They're also affordable. We picked her up after a week and she was fine! She seemed a little off from her usual self for the first few days, but that's to be expected. She's honestly gotten a bit better with new people since she's stayed at the kennel. We'd use them again next year!"
