"Such a great little zoo for toddlers! I've been bringing my 2 there since they've been 1 & 2 now they are 3&4 yo and they both still love it! Plenty of table to bring your lunch and enjoy there. You can see the animals nicely as they are all close. We drive 35 min here rather than to the zoo 2 min away from our house as we pay less for the annual membership to Capron than 1 visit to our local zoo. Definitely worth the trip and there's a wonderful playground right outside the zoo and a beautiful park to play in after your visit."
"Not a terrible Zoo but for the price it's worth it! Some areas are tricky wheelchair wise for handicap accessibility (a few hills and tight doorways) but the variety of animals is nice!"
"Visited the zoo for the Fairytale Princess event, the weather was as perfect as the day. The zoo did an amazing job with this event bringing so many smiles to all the little girls four of mine included the lines moved quickly and each of the 5 princesses were outstanding kind and patient signing autographs and taking pictures with each and every child. There was also an educational butterfly exhibit on display as well which we learned a lot from, that along with all the animals to visit made for a wonderful day which my granddaughters won’t forget."
"This zoo is ideal for small children. Due to it being smaller than other zoos in the area you can easily see all the zoo has to offer in just a couple of hours. Which makes for a spur of the moment trip or something fun to do in the afternoon. Has a small splash pad open during the summer which is great to cool off. Offers food and a small gift shop. We also love the playground right outside the zoo."
"Smaller Zoo but very enjoyable. I go maybe once a year to see what's new. My daughters and I love it. It is one of our favorites. Takes about an hour to an hour and a half to get thru if you take your time and enjoy the exhibits."
