"I ordered the satay chicken, and as a person of the culture this cuisine is from — what an abomination! Satay has to be grilled or at least fried in a special sauce, not just sweet and sour sauce!"
"It’s hard to compete with NY style Chinese food, but honestly this comes close. Their decor isn’t pretty, they only take cash, but the food is yummy. The owners are also lovely people. They aren’t stingy with their portions either. I spent $24 on a large chicken lo mein that was stuffed to the brim, small spicy wings ( $7.50 for 4) and small regular wings ( $7.00 for 4)."
"Excellent chinese food with great taste and texture"
"Honestly I've had better. I had their pork fried rice which is that yellow rice, it had 2 kinds of onions white and green which I thought was too much and it was bland on the taste. Their lobster sauce was ok on taste but soupy and not chunky or thick as I perfer it. The boneless ribs were very dry because they were cut very thin and extra fried. The chicken wings as well- they were crispy but not in a good way...The oil definitely needed to be changed. The wings were very dark and crispy. The beef teriyaki I must admit were ok and I liked the price (4) for $5.00. The chicken fingers were also ok. Not too bad! Overall-The food was edible but not something I would crave for seconds. If Im looking to eat yellow rice Chinese I would go to Chung-wah in chelsea which cooks the same kind of Chinese but way tastier."
"service is really slow... but the food I felt was pretty decent. Lower sodium on the fried rice and the tso chicken wasn't bad. Also had the hot and sour soup, no complaints. And definitely healthy servings. There's other chinese restaurants I'd rather go to, but this spot works if you need a fix."
