"Update: it's about a week since my manicure and the top coat that seals the manicure is chipping off on one of my nails. Some of nails have broken under the gel. Not satisfied with this manicure unfortunately and most likely will not be going back. Checked out KK Nails for the first time. Place is clean and the ladies are friendly. Had a previous gel manicure removed and really appreciated how they removed the gel. There was no scraping, the lady used a drill to get most of it off and then a quick soak to finish it off, no badly scraped nails! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could get a design on my gel nails after being told at other places that they don't do designs on gel. And I told was happy with her effort for sure. A few things I would say though is, I would have liked her to spend more time on cleaning up my cuticles as I know them and sometimes require some time, secondly on buffering my nails and smoothing the edges before applying the polish and thirdly she didn't rub my nails with the rubbing alcohol afterward so I came home to do it and file my nails to smooth them out. I also didn't get the hand massage you get at other places. Would have given 5 stars if all of that was covered. Overall decent place, friendly and affordable."
