"I made an appointment for 10:30 I arrived 12 minutes late which was honestly on me. The salon still took me. I was cut several times to the point that one of my toes is swollen and red and something as simple as water stings the cuts. While I was at the salon there was a mom next to me getting a pedicure as well (walk-in client). The nail tech made several loud comments about how she had “big chunks of stuff” under her nails and asked if her “feet were swollen or if she had fat deposits”. The client just said she walks a lot and doesn’t have the time to go to the salon as she is a busy mom. I would be mortified if I was her- not a friendly salon if you are seeking a nail tech that’s not going to shame you. They definitely will shame your feet. As I said I ran late- a client came in at 11:15 and sat in the chair for 30 minutes. She decided to leave at 11:45 as no one had taken her and the same lady that made the comments about the moms feet said out loud “oh we are running late because she decided to be 20 minutes late (pointed at me) to her appointment and we took her because it was for her wedding.” Mind you if my 12 minutes late was a bother they could have turned me away. I have other salons I could have gone to - they also didn’t know my pedicure was for my wedding until I mentioned it so it wasn’t like they were doing me a favor. If they were, they wouldn’t brag about it to everyone in the salon after calling me out for my untimeliness. I then corrected her and said “I was 12 minutes late not 20” and she continued the argument. I dropped it because at the end of the day I was late but they could have 1) asked me to reschedule and 2) not taken 2 walk-ins if they were running such a tight schedule. This salon had 4 techs working but many people were coming in with appointments some with no appointment. DO NOT come here unless you would like the techs to call you out in front of everyone or make fun of your feet. Extremely unprofessional. Along with all the cuts I have the acrylic is also ridiculously thick. This is my second time here and the first experience wasn’t that great either I was told Zina would do my design as she’s really good at them, but a random tech did the design instead. It did not come out good. Will not be returning."

"After several failed attempts to walk out of a salon in Acton with gorgeous nails, I gave up on them and booked an appointment at Zina's. They did not disappoint! Kim listened to my past concerns and took the time to make sure that my nails looked stunning. He was so meticulous, and I couldn't be happier with the result! The salon is spotless, and everyone was friendly and professional. They have definitely won my future business and I just can't recommend them enough. My only regret is not trying them sooner."
