"I got a 17 dollar squid entree which doesn’t come with rice and there was legitimately >2 ounces of fried squid. That’s squid with the deep fried layer. A place down the road gives you 4+ ounces for 14 dollars including rice. Do not rip people off like this. This should be illegal."
"Good food, great service. Only issue is the lack of parking, but you can take the T and not worry about that at all, plus it's not their fault. Definitely going back!"
"I've been coming here for years, bringing friends and family, and spent thousands of dollars here, mostly due to the convenient location. But I finally had enough. The quality of the pho had always been pretty random but still edible. But the last year or so it has been consistently bad with flavorless broth and shrinking portions. They are also pushy about tips—they started highlighting the suggested tips on the bottom. I've always tipped well and especially during COVID but, even assuming that they do this for everyone, it's presumptuous and rude. Finally, they have roaches that will just hang out on the tables. The photos attached were taken on two different days. I repeat: two different days. One was bold enough to eat a bit of lettuce in front of us. There are so many better pho restaurants in Boston. Go elsewhere."
"Drunken noodle was bad. Super sweet and not much noodle. Waiter was inattentive. Had no water in my cup, he never noticed. I had to get my own water in the front. Then he realized and walked around to fill ppl’s drinks. He didn’t ask what spice level we wanted either. I am not coming back."
"The absolute best Tom Yum soup. Order the one with noodles and you will not be disappointed. Every time there are 5 enormous shrimp that take 2-3 bites to finish one and these bad boys are the reason this is the best soup in the neighborhood. Huge portion and the broth is to die for. I salivate just writing about it. If you order it to go it’s even better. All the ingredients are so fresh and packed separate so you can add more or less to taste. Last week I had it three days in a row and I never eat anything three times in a row without getting bored. The prices are very reasonable and other dishes are just as good."
