"An excellent place to finish out a day. Food and service was excellent. The octopus was excellent."
"The best! Celebrated my birthday here. Got a late dinner reservation and had cocktails and a bunch of appetizers with my sis and cousin. Crab rolls to due for! Charred cabbage a must. Lamb meatballs yummy! Street corn, house fries, shrimp! On the nearby table someone ordered the bouillabaisse which looked spectacular. Will have the next time I'm there for sure. A must visit in MV."
"We were very disappointed in the food. We had dined at this restaurant 3 years prior and had an excellent meal. This time, the food was sub-par - overly salty, poorly presented. We were especially looking forward to the butterscotch pudding for dessert. It was barely thicker than soup and the butterscotch could not be tasted. And it’s pricey. My entree was $52 dollars. I was expecting amazing and got mediocre."
"We had a great time at Beach Road: the view is spectacular, the service is attentive, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is good. We got the rather filling focaccia and the top-notch tempuras which was served piping hot, fresh, and light. A delight. For the main course, I got the bouillabaisse, which has light - but tasty - broth and some mussels, lobster, a langoustine, and some clams. I wish there were fish, as the marseillais serve it, and fewer mussels (nice but not upscale). The soup came with a tasty toasted bread creatively spread with rouille. The rouille itself lacked some zinger but I did enjoy the dish which brought back some memories from home. My date got the pasta and lobster. Although the lobster and pasta were reportedly very tasty, the sauce was super garlicky which forced her to get some maalox later on. It was also a particularly generous pasta serving, we could not finish it. After that, there was no room for desert. Next time. For drinks, I thoroughly enjoyed a grapefruit thief and a decent rosé provençal. My date got the aligoté which was fine. Some prices are absurd, such as $52 for a bottle of 2021 Muscadet, a well known bad year for a wine which is known as being cheap and cheerful. Anyhow, we got a great time and we’ll definitely be back."
"Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday! It was a lovely restaurant with a great view of a gorgeous Martha’s Vineyard sunset over the water."
