Porto Pizza

"Some of the better pizza I've had on Martha's Vineyard by far. Service is okay, seems like college kids who are trying but maybe are understaffed or under-trained."

"Not real pizza just a tourist trap. Absolutely no flavor and expensive clearly sitting out. I asked if any fresh slices are coming out they said no with attitude. As I'm walking out they put a new pizza up in front of me. Not worth your time or money"

"It was open at 9:15 p.m., which is good for anything in VH that time of night. The 3 star goes to the pizza. The flavor and thin crust is enticing. The after taste is a bad grease residue. From my reading and understanding is that it comes from a poor quality cheese. Will most likely go back for a slice, but will need to buy or bring a juice drink to disguise or dissolve that grease after taste."

"Pizza was actually decent - but being one of the first in the restaurant upon opening, a '15-20' minute wait turned into a 45+ minute wait. While we were waiting, many who ordered beforehand for pickup were arriving, and waited longer than we had. After another customer asked for an update for when their pizza would be ready, he was told it would be 15 more minutes. When he said 'but you said it would be 20 minutes 20 minutes ago', someone working responded with 'I said it would "hopefully" be 20 minutes, so hopefully it will be ready in another 15 minutes'"

"Stopped here for a quick slice of pizza while in the area. I thought that the pizza was really good and it was nice that they had outdoor seating available. If you get off the ferry, this is only a 2 min walk!"
