"It's super expensive. I knew it when I booked but it was a special occasion so why not. Ambience was good. We reached a little early than our booking time but we were seated immediately. The first drink wasn't good to be honest. The fried chicken sliders were really good. To be honest that could have been my entire dinner. I ordered fish and chips and my boy friend ordered monk fish. Fish and chips had no taste. Even if you add salt vinegar, nope. Total waste. Monk fish was really good. Till now I would have given 5 stars. The espresso martini was good too. Why I won’t give 5 stars is I mentioned in the booking that it’s my boyfriend’s birthday. They brought a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the end. That was super nice. But I was charged $3 for that!! You couldn’t even give your guest a scoop of ice cream!!! I didn’t ask for it though, you just charged me!!! I never said arrange for a slice of cake or ice cream!! Why would you assume! And then charge me for that!! You couldn’t even give that much to a guest who spent $150 at your restaurant for two people!!! That’s cheap mentality and I will never go back. It’s not about the $3. I spent $150 there, it’s about the mentality.."
"This was my first visit to this place, and the wait staff was exceptionally kind. Despite opening at 11:30, they allowed us to wait inside at 11:15, considering the rain. Once seated, we promptly placed our order. The food was incredibly delicious with generous portions. The restaurant had a fantastic overall vibe."
"I hadn't really ventured into the upscale seafood restaurant scene in Seaport until this winter, and Row 34 was definitely one I had my eye on. We were lucky to get a table for 6 on a Saturday (~5pm) without a reservation (though we had to vacate within 1.5 hours for a reservation at that table). The service was good and the food came out quickly. Things I loved - The mussels were perfectly cooked with a super savory white wine broth. Things that were pretty good - The lobster roll was buttery and quite substantial - The bouillabaisse was tasty but the shrimp was overcooked. The other seafood was good. - The tuna crudo was tasty with fresh fish and interesting flavors - The flourless chocolate cake was tasty, rich and decadent Things that were meh - The oyster po boy was forgettable and bland - The fried crams were greasy and not very substantial Overall the seafood was good but I thought the fried food was lacking. I probably wouldn't come back unless it was to eat a bunch of mussels..."
"Tried their warm butter lobster roll, clam chowder, steamed mussels and crab cake. Really enjoyed the lobster roll. It's huge! And the lobster was very fresh and bouncy. I was afraid the butter would be too heavy and overwhelming but that was not the case at all. The bun was so soft and toasted just right. Clam chowder was super hearty and creamy. The sauce for the steamed mussels was very good. My husband really enjoyed his crab cake. The price was reflective of the quantity and quality of the food. Service was attentive. A place worth trying."
"Came in while on a road trip. I had the smoked bluefish pate, lobster roll and chips. Chips were good, great if you don't want fries. First time trying a butter lobster roll and it was do good. Lobster was tender and juicy, roll was buttery and delicious. I'll try the cold mayo one next time. Bluefish pate was so savory and delicious, goes great with their house bread. The oysters were great, I'll definitely try the island creek ones again. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. I can't speak for the overall vibe because I came in pretty late and felt the last hour rush from the staff but they were great and helpful. They validate your parking at a local lot, 12 dollars which is good if you are trying to watch your money."
