"Minus for service!! I NEVER do this but, anyone looking for take out DO NOT call Yellowbird in West Roxbury!! Whoever answers the phone is so rude it’s unbelievable. I tried to fix an order I made online and was told they were to busy to look for it and were just making all of the food in the que. Then continued to tell me my order wasn’t there even tho I was charged(it’s on my account statement) and that to get a refund I needed to “call the company” even though it was made on THEIR WEBSITE!! Never again! I remember the food being good but obviously service has changed."
"Not sure where these bad reviews came from. This food is exactly what you’re looking for out of a fried chicken joint. The chicken is fantastic. I saw a few people say it was too salty. Perhaps, but I like well-seasoned food. Sides are great, especially the mac & cheese and fast food style fries. The prices are also very fair. A good-sized Buffalo chicken sandwich for $7.99 is a steal these days."
"The owner is super nice but the food is so so. The mac and cheese was good. The potato salad and cornbread were not bad. Coleslaw was watery. The chicken was salty and dry. I tried making crispy chicken salad out of the boneless wings and tenders to salvage what I paid for but just ended up throwing everything away. Place smells like old grease and that is how the chicken tastes as well. Honestly KFC on Washington Street has better tenders. Place could use a refresh or cleaning."
"Hmmmmm Not to bad... not to good. I think for the amount of food is little to pricey. The chicken taste good. However i try the coleslaw and very disappointing to a point that is basically not coleslaw or at least not close to a real one, is too watery and big and thick pieces of cabbage.. if i order again it would ve just chicken."
