"The very sweet bearded man had the kindest, funniest personality while my older mom and I were figuring out what to eat. We split the apple, bacon and onion sandwiche and had a cup of the curry carrot soup each. It was absolutely perfect for us. We roamed around the bookstore after and we just kept talking about that sandwich all day. My only note is that coconut cream would've been awesome in the soup"

"Always a great selection of pastries and coffee drinks- the cinnamon rolls are super yum! Staff are kind and helpful. The atmosphere is quaint- a perfect place either inside or out to have breakfast, lunch or coffee with friends. Being in a bookstore is a plus as well"

The bookstore the cafe is in, Toadstools, is a favorite haunt of mine when I'm in town. There's nothing better than picking out a new book, getting a fresh coffee, and enjoying by the river in the warm months."

"I love tucking in here for a latte. The Bengal is the crown prince of breakfast sandwiches that I have had, highly recommended. It’s a tiny space with some nice outdoor seating. The staff is great and likes to get to know the regulars."
