"Over a year now I have always order to pickup but I am torturing myself. Food is already cold, doesn’t have flavor, omelette and scrambled eggs overcooked, big pieces of peppers and tomatoes, NO FLAVOR. It’s sad. Prefer to drive 40 minutes to a brunch or restaurant. They just need to learn how to use salt, butter, garlic and ANY sauce."

"Taking over from the old bistro, captain t's is the new diner in town. Eggs, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, and pancakes. They even had some good local syrup. Not bad, price was good, will try lunch next time. Space wise, it's a diner, 6 tables inside and a few outside for the ice cream patio. Update: Went for lunch. Clam strips, fritters, chowder, and sandwich. Filling, crispy, and decent amount of clam. It's not the Sole but it's nice to have options in Barre again."

"Spent $70 on seafood which I was told was their “specialty” however, I first waited an entire hour for my takeout order. second, everyone around me was having their own issues with their orders. When I finally got my food and got back home, I was shocked to find my onion rings in the state that they were in, a ball (see photo). My captain t’s platter looked exactly like the clam plate, and it was hard to figure out what was what. the food was just ok. I tried to give this place a chance, maybe they were having an off night. hopefully things get figured out"
