"Guy does amazing scissor cuts. Honestly, best haircuts I've ever had in my life. However, you need to be aware that a) he owns the place and works whatever hours he wants to and b) he is a perfectionist and will take his time to get it right. So, be sure to a) make an appointment and b) leave him plenty of time for to work. If you do, you won't regret it."

"Amazing experience and the Barber Gaetano was amazing. Such a great experience from a true Italian. Though the price of the cut and shave was on the pricier side in my opinion. I do not regret going. If you're in Boston and then need of a cut or a shave definitely recommend."

"Go here if you have a lot of time and money on your hands. I went when there was one barber and one guy in the chair. Told me to wait 10 minutes. 35 minutes later another barber walked in and did my cut. He really took his time and gave me the works including a straight edge. All together took about an hour with the wait. I paid the most that I've ever paid for a simple men's cut: 26 plus tip. Typically I pay 15-20. That being said, it was a good haircut."

"Best haircut I have ever had in my life. I've lived in the north end for 5 years and In boston for 10. The popular Salem st shops are just OK and I have been everywhere from newbury st to the seaport. Ball and Buck would be my second best haircut and if anyone knows for 50 bucks it better be. Yes the man spoke bad English but all it took was 2 minutes of my time to explain to him what I wanted. I was a bit nervous at first because it was my last shot in the area for finding a good barber. Wow I'm glad I did, I am in the finance industry and it's extremely important for me to look my best for High Net Worth clients. This man Shaun took my haircut experience to a new level he treated it like an art, making sure everything was absolutely perfect and did not rush.
