"I have been visiting Varnished for more than 6 months. The reason for my switch was that my previous barber (a completely different shop) would not listen to what I wanted. This is NOT the case at Varnished. Kate Farrington, my barber, is attentive, extremely competent, and a great conversationalist. I would highly recommend her! Kate has also helped me make decisions in changing my style, being respectful and honest as to how it would look with my less than complete head of hair. All this and she keeps my long beard looking great too. After the cut, the barber will shampoo your hair in preparation for styling."

"My son went there with hair long to his shoulders and wanted to get someone that knows how to give him a proper haircut so we thought that this is the right place and had a picture how he would like to shorten his hair but what his barber did to him should be considered a crime or abuse at least , you can look at pictures and decide yourself. If you are ready to take $35 for a haircut you should be ready to hire appropriate people for the job or fire. First picture is what was asked for but result was very bad and disappointing."
