"The rudest service I have ever encountered. I went here with my spouse. He made it clear that he is allergic to soy and asked if there is soy in the veggie burger. The waitress checked and came back to say that one option does not have soy. So he went with that option. Halfway through his burger, he realized he was eating a patty full of soy beans. As soon as he informed the waitress and asked to have it removed from our bill, her demeanor immediately changed from friendly to defensive and aggressive. She argued that the beans are not soy beans, they are avocado. This was simply not true. They were literally soy beans. She then told us she would not remove it because he ate half of it already. Her accusatory demeanor was as though he purposely ate half then asked to have it taken off. She told him he’s just having a bad day and taking it out on her. We asked to speak to the manager and were told they are out of the country. We were given a number to call to complain. It is disconnected. This was absolutely ridiculous. We will now deal with him being ill for the next 3 days. Mistakes happen in all industries. But there was no bit of an apology or any attempt to rectify the issue that this waitress caused. Whether you are local or just visiting in the area, I recommend you steer clear of Abby’s Restaurant entirely."
