"My baby locs definitely needed a retwist, & I’m glad I was able to get my hair right for the new year. The team was very welcoming & Ateiya was so great. She made my locs come back to life & gave some good advice for my loc care/routine. Thank you!"
"So I got a hair treatment, trim, and my natural shoulder length hair twisted. My hair was washed well and the conditioner was steamed in. The vibe is relaxed, and I have been stressed, so I liked it. I was offered a bottle of water, which was definitely appreciated on a hot day. Everyone who is staff is friendly and likes to chat with each other, however to have the front desk staff person hanging-out by my head as my hair was getting washed by the stylist was weird. I don't know if she is a stylist in training or what, but that was a little weird and made me uncomfortable. My hair looked great when I left but the moisture in my hair didn't last past day 3 and I don't know why. A couple of my twists on top of my head started coming apart, and I am not messing with my hair or doing anything wild. Tipping: I somehow missed it is done via cash, Venmo ,or Cash App. I thought I was going to be able to do everything via card but you can't. That is something to note. I didn't have the apps so I was trying to get it done on my phone and it was not and still is not working. My phone is dealing with a weird hack. I would recommend them if you have 4 b/c natural hair that is free form. I don't have locs so I can't speak to that, but everyone I saw leave looked great. Wasn't crazy pricey. I wouldn't go back. UPDATE: My twists were all different sizes, and the moisture in my hair did not even make it to day 3. I am so disappointed. Where is a natural hair salon that is not just trying to take your money?"
"I got a silk press, steam treatment and trim here and was very pleased. My hair has sustained after a week without need of flat ironing it. My hair is bouncy and my scalp is not dry. Ateiya will take good care of you!"
"This salon is such an experience and vibe! I drove an hour from Rhode Island and I would not hesitate to do it again. From the moment I walked into the salon the stellar customer service began. The wash was to die for, the steam could have put me to sleep and the retwist was so gentle. The music set the atmosphere and I was loving it. Overall, I left there feeling so relaxed. I would gladly return!"
"The care, the treatment, the style we're all superb. Taty took care of my locs in such a graceful way. I've never left her chair feeling unsatisfied. The shampoo alone is worth the visit. Plus, the loc bomb was just what my follicles needed after being quarantined for nearly 3 months."
