"Came in cold off of a Nextdoor recommendation. Having moved back to Massachusetts in the past year, I'm still looking for a stylist. Frances, rather than Gerta, was assigned to do my work. She was excellent and attentive. We had a great conversation, (with periods of no conversation when she was concentrating), in the chair. I appreciate very much the time and care she put into adjusting my bangs so that they framed my face. The cut itself is highly flattering. Frances prefers scissors over razoring for the bangs--personally speaking, I love a stylist who is fluid with a razor, but her work was excellent with the tools she favored. Parking is easy here, a plus when you have a stylist who is paying attention to the cut rather than to the clock. I would have been in violation of my time if I'd parked at a meter. In any case, I was well taken care of and enjoyed the service. Prices at the time of my cut were in line with those posted on the AJ Salon website. A great value for the quality of the work."
