"I went to this shop twice to give them a chance in case my impression was wrong the first time. It wasn’t. The first time, I went for knotless box braids. While the style was precise and pretty, the quality of the hair was extremely itchy. So I decided to bring my own hair to use for the second visit. I asked in advance if they could do Senegalese twists even though it wasn’t a style listed on their website. I was told they could ask I told them I’d be bringing my own hair. They said okay and to book like I was getting braids and then text them my info. I did this and then they contacted me the day before my appointment asking if I could reschedule for a different time because my stylist was in the hospital. I said of course (even though I was originally trying to get my hair done for a conference I was traveling to the next day. Came back from my conference and had my second appointment yesterday. My stylist was still working on another client and had another woman do my hair. When I reminded her that I requested Senegalese twists, she looked confused and even complained to the other women about me bringing my own hair. The woman doing my hair looked up how to start the twists on YouTube. Then, my original stylist finished with her other client and left. I thought she would be coming back but she didn’t. Since the woman doing my hair couldn’t really understand or speak English, the other woman with her had to keep calling my stylist to have her translate. The woman doing my hair kept on pulling apart the tangles in the hair with her teeth and restarted so many times that my appointment ended up taking 7.5 hours. I felt bad for them having to do this work but was also angry because the chair was painful to sit in and I was extremely hungry. The result is uneven twists that are already starting to frizz."
"I am so glad I found this place. Great service. I completely recommend."
"First time going here and very happy I did. She did a great good with my braids. The shop is very clean and comfortable to be in. Their prices are very good for how tallented she is. I will definitely be back again."
"I don’t know where to even start with this place. My appointment was at 3:40 so I go in 5 minutes early to be told my appointment is at 4:30 (it wasn’t.) So I go back at 4:30 to be told that I couldn’t get my weave out until 5, and was told that someone would be brought in to complete the service. I go back for 5 and the lady took someone else. I didn’t get seen until 5:40 pm. Huge waste of time. I had to get my weave out due to bumps on my head, and thought I found a reliable place to take it out- I was wrong. Owner charged more than what website said. The website says masks are required, yet no one wore one. I was also told no kids allowed in place, yet one of the clients had a kid with them, meanwhile I left mine in car. This place is also located in one of the worse places in Lowell. I high toy don’t recommend this place."
