"I was coming to Newport, RI for a conference & needed to get my hair done. I reached out to the owner & she was so friendly & helpful. She quoted me a price & set my appointment. The two ladies at the shop (I wish I'd gotten their names) were so sweet & accommodating. I had a crochet install and, working together, they got it done in an hour! If you live in Pawtucket or surrounding areas, give their shop a try."

"Binta African Hair Braiding owner was alright. My braider was alright. Not really a customer centric demeanor, minimal effort made but still came across as not genuinely friendly. I got what I came for and will use them in a pinch. Oh... bring cash as they do not take cc's or any other form of payment. They don't tell you when you make your appointment. You have to leave your driver's license and go down the street to an ATM for cash."

I was stuck in a horrible bind when a new hairstylist I booked with and paid a deposit (Woozie in Fall River - BEWARE) canceled on me a few hours before my appointment with no response regarding refunding my deposit.
