"If I could give 0 stars I would. This company provides very little support to their staff. There is no communication and little pay and raises. The management does not support the staff. They don't care if staff members get breaks and honestly the chief of staff doesn't care for animals and is just in the business for the money . There is lots of personal drama and little room for moving up."
"I have been taking my pets to Indian Valley Animal Hospital for over 20 years. There has been many veterinarians who have worked there and moved on for whatever reason but I always had found the staff and doctors pleasant, helpful, and caring. I have five dogs, three are puppies and I am there weekly for vaccinations and now dealing with parasites and worms. I called the office and their manager answered the phone. She was extremely rude, nasty, and told me I could take my dogs elsewhere. I didn’t even threaten to take them out of the practice. Terrible customer service!!!"
"VetCor bought the large animal practice that had been servicing my dairy goat farm for 7 years. Immediately the service and positive relationship we had developed went downhill and in 6 months they dropped me as a client, stating they no longer had enough workforce to service our area. Yet I know for a fact that they still come to a large neighboring farm that is likely more profitable. This borders on an ethics violation. Terrible experience."
"I have worked for VetCor for two years as a staff veterinarian (24 years experience). The last three months as chief of staff of one of their clinics. There have been bumps in the road, but overall I have had a positive experience. There is the freedom to practice within the standards of care. I feel supported by my regional manager. I have seen firsthand VetCor show compassion for one of my previous partners and fellow employees dealing with a prolonged illness. They are a company that cares for their staff. As I read through the other reviews, I began to reflect on the negativity. The veterinarian profession is going through some rough times. There are staffing difficulties. The numbers quoted at the last conference I attended stated 1% of veterinarian students track toward equine practice. Of that 1%, 50% will leave the equine field within five years. This job has a high demand and is stressful. All of these factors make VetCor's job even more difficult. I believe they care and support their employees. Grace and mercy are hard to come by these days. With social media, everyone is a critic. If the outcomes of life don't go their way, then someone has to be responsible?? I'm not sure if there is a correct answer. Still, in my experience, VetCor endeavors to support and pour into their veterinarians and support staff while navigating a litigious society."
"VetCor is the owner of Wilton Animal Hospital. I will post my complaint about them below, but the complaint about this company is that they don't even bother to call you back regarding your concerns. Wilton Animal hospital advertises emergency care during open hours, laughable!!! I have been a customer since 2009. I called for 2 days in a row letting the office know that my dog was not well. I asked to come in two days in a row. I was turned away by whoever answered the phone (she didn't sympathize with the animal and shouldn't be in this field). Didn’t even get a phone call from the Vet asking what is wrong. Wow, what horrible service. They only seem to want to help you with well visits and very happy to take your money. I don’t know what happened to them, but their service went downhill. I will never use them again. If you are thinking of using them, RUN!!!!!! I took my dog to another vet, and he needed antibiotics for a possible infection. After receiving the care, he needed he was back to normal. What a disgrace this animal hospital has become. My dog suffered for 2 days because of their lack of concern. Some of the staff is rude, unprofessional and can't follow through with simple instructions. They don't even deserve one star. This practice needs a significant overhaul."
