E3 Apartments

"I'm a current tenant, my partner and I moved into E3 Edge on June 1st this year. THERE HAS BEEN SOME SERIOUS LEAKAGE FROM THE WINDOWS IN THE LIVING ROOM. Every time it rains, we would have a huge puddle of water, soaking my yoga gears and carpets. We have been addressing this issue since June, and yet the management had never fixed the problem. It is absolutely ridiculous. I have been cleaning the floor EVERY TIME it rains since June. As in today September 19, the management still failed to resolve the issues; all their response have been 'we will send someone to have a look', 'we will call someone', 'we will look into it', but it has been three months now. We pay expensive rent to live here, and they cannot even provide the most fundamental need for an apartment. We had to throw away two expensive carpets already because they were completely ruined by the flooding. E3 never mentions compensation or even offers any temporary help to stop the water coming in. Can they at least provide and set up massive towels to stop the water from coming in? Or reduce our rent since this apartment is not as promised? We are furious about this issue, it is unbelievable. Again, it still has not been fixed. Pictures below are the most recent leakage."

"You can experience all dramas while living here. Broke heater in December and try to survive under 52 F ✅ ; Stuck in the elevator ✅；Broke washing machine ✅ ；suffer from fire alarm at 3 am before midterm ✅; and you need to pay about more than 4.5k for this. Oh my! I do wanna love this place and identify here as home. But sorry I tried."

"The Edge building has terrible sound insulation. I’ve lived in three different apt complexes in Boston, but the noise was like nothing else. I literally lost sleep every single day. Move in only if you want to spend a miserable time at home."

"I have lived in the Eco building since summer 2019, and I have absolutely loved my time at E3. After nearly three years, I don't have a single complaint about the community. Leasing office staff -- Catherine, Alicia, William, and Lindsay -- are extremely helpful, professional, and approachable. Maintenance is quick and reliable. The few times that I have had minor issues, staff have resolved them ASAP. The building and its amenities (multiple gyms, lounges, and roof decks with skyline views) are modern and clean. Management frequently organizes interesting events like cooking lessons and volunteer efforts. The building's location offers easy access to transportation as well as great restaurants and shops in Boston and Brookline. Neighbors are respectful and friendly, and there are always cute pups around! In short, E3 is the best Boston has to offer. You really can't go wrong living here! :)"

"E3 is the perfect luxury apartment in Boston! As an international student who came to the US for the first time, staffs in E3 office have always been friendly, helpful and nice. The move in process is smooth and easy. Staffs in office explain everything patiently and detailed. Really no need to worry about anything:) The apartment is clean, new and beautiful as advertised. Also the common area is perfect for hosting social events with friends. Maintenance is quick and well done. The green line T is 2 minutes walk from the apartment, Starbucks, pavement, Star market and lots of great Korean restaurants are around the apartment. Definitely RECOMMEND!"
