"I have been taking my cat and small dog here for years. It’s super easy to make appointments and they have often squeezed me in mid week for more urgent matters. I have seen both veterinarians, and I think the whole staff they work their tails off and really care about you and your pets."
"When I moved back into the area I was extremely nervous that I wasn’t going to find a veterinarian that I loved as much as I did in Virginia but I shouldn’t have worried. Burlington Animal Clinic is the upper echelon of veterinary care. Dr. Hanson is kind, extremely knowledgeable, patient, caring and everything you would want in a veterinarian. I never feel rushed or embarrassed with my numerous questions I always have for them. The front desk staff are always so helpful and have treated me and my pet so well. The vet techs are amazing and are so kind and gentle with my fur baby who is a little spicy and sassy. Everyone treats your pet like their own. Appointments are very easy to get whether it’s a routine visit or sick visit. I highly recommend Burlington Animal Clinic."
"Midori (11 yr old dachshund) had her first visit in September 2022, the staff was very friendly, the vet explained everything beforehand (we needed to get bloodwork to keep on eye on her kidney function), there were no unexpected costs. Masks are still required, but you're allowed to go in with your pet and stay with them for the entire visit (only for sick visits and annual exams). She felt at ease there and aside from some struggling during the blood draw, she didn't protest at all during the physical exam. (Something our previous vet couldn't accomplish, I'm assuming because we weren't allowed in the exam rooms). Scheduling was easy, I submitted the form for a new client online and communicated with them via email. They also have a number that you can text during business hours. I've included the invoice from our visit to give an idea of their pricing. It has been a few months and I've brought our shiba puppy in 3 times. Overall our experience was good, but it's a little difficult to communicate to Dr. Hansen during appointments. Our shiba is difficult, like most shibas. So the techs make note of things that make it easier to handle her in her file. I'm always there too, but I know it's a bit of a chaotic environment and it's hard to do something and listen to what someone else is saying at the same time, but I think the appointments would go smoother if she followed the notes in our shibas file. :/ (i.e., no nail trims because she's already very stressed (we do grooming SEPARATELY from vet appointments), and giving her vaccines in her back legs not between her shoulder blades) Update Feb 9th 2023: After bringing in our slightly older Shiba (1 yr) today, Dr Hansen was much better about communication, adapting when our Shiba was stressed (doing a blood draw from his back leg instead of front), waiting until he was fully distracted before doing vaccines, and no nail trims. :) Overall, the experience was much better for Mochi than his previous vet. They still require masks, but you don't have to wait in your car and text/call them, you can walk in."
"We began bringing our 11 year old red heeler, Roxy, to this vet over 6 years ago. In every visit, Dr. Kathleen gets down on the floor and not only examines our dog, but actually connects with her. Every time we visit, Roxy is calm and cared for by the entire staff. The advice we have received has helped keep our dog healthy and vital. We all love our pets. We all tend to be emotional about their care. If you know your pet and share what you know, this clinic will deliver the care your pet deserves. If there is ever an issue, calmly and simply work with the staff to resolve it. They thoroughly care and your pet deserves the best."
"Have taken both my Blue Heelers (and cats) here for Years. Dr Hansen and the entire Vet and Tech and front desk staff are amazing, kind, considerate, and consummate professionals. They've been helpful and endlessly patient with my questions, and inquiries, and have helped my two Blue Heelers grow up happy. Absolutely amazing service, and communication. I also *Love* that the Clinic has taken time to respond to the negative reviews, especially the ones where the reviews were fake, or the reviewer was being a terrible person, and the Clinic informed them of that."
