"If I could give them zero stars I would. I am moving out this month after living here for one year. My experience has been horrible from the beginning to the end. The staff in the office are the most inconsiderate and unresponsive I have ever had to deal with in an apartment complex. They have an online portal where you are supposed to send messages. However, the messages are never answered and apparently, never looked at. They do not follow up with phone calls when they state they would. The person called Rene, does not follow up as needed to solve problems that are timely urgent and will not take accountability for her own mistakes. During the year living here, we couldn't even use some of the amenities included in the rent payment because they will not fix the problems. The hot tub in the pool was not working for most of the summer, the roads in the complex have many holes and they will not fix it until is completely destroyed and difficult to drive by. Not to mention, our mail box lock had to be replaced when we first moved in because the key didn't work, and then once replaced it could never lock closed at all. One of the office staff said she would put in a maintenance order for us when she noticed it in person, but it has not been replaced. In general, the apartments are extremely over priced for the quality of the service and amenities. Living in Residence's at Stevens Ponds has been a very uncomfortable and difficult experience."
"What a horrible experience since day 1. I was first told that I wasn’t able to move in until after 1pm because our unit was being cleaned but when the leasing agent brought us to our unit, it looked as if the previous tenant JUST moved out. It was absolutely disgusting. Christina (leasing agent) continued to tell me the unit was cleaned while do a walk through. The floors were gross, bathroom sinks and tubs were yellow, there was a red ring inside both toilets as if they haven’t been cleaned in months. The fridge was dirty inside and out as well as ALL of the appliances. The fan in the bathroom was broke, garbage dispose was broke, keys didn’t work, was told I was going to be given a code for the front door but then another leasing agent told me that Christina has no idea what she was talking about that they haven’t given codes out in a very long time. They charge you monthly for parking yet if you’re home after 7pm there’s NO PARKING. Buildings are dirty, no one cleans them or keeps up with anything at this complex and they have no problem charging you 3,100 for a 2 bedroom. I’m happy I only signed a 10 month lease here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a homeless person. Look elsewhere!"
"Nothing but great things to say! It’s our second lease…..Gina, Angel and Lori are so kind and will literally do anything to help you. I’m a nurse practitioner and have a wonky schedule and they have all been MORE than accommodating if i ever need anything. They will help you in anyway they can and are super down to earth and responsive. My husband and I currently rent a townhouse and love it!! We have an updated kitchen/fireplace and it just feels so private, but not to mention our neighbors are all very nice."
"Been a resident of Stevens Pond for 4 years now. In June 2023 down graded to a two bedroom from a three and I love it. Love the fact that I windows in the kitchen. Lori, Gina and the rest of the crew are the best. Any time I have a issue their there to resolve it, quick."
"Disappointing Experience I moved into our complex in 2019 with high hopes, only to be confronted with a series of disappointments and frustrations. From discovering black mold infestation in our apartment to ongoing issues with management, my experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare. Shortly after moving in, we discovered black mold in our apartment. After months of back-and-forth with the management, I had to take matters into my own hands and hire someone to assess the situation. The results were alarming, and we had to immediately evacuate our apartment. This was particularly distressing as we had a three-month-old baby at the time. The apartment complex offered NO assistance or discounts, despite their attempts to hide the black mold issues Fast toward this summer on the day of my son's preschool graduation, my vehicle was towed because of an expired inspection sticker. It came to my attention that the apartment complex had a contract with the tow company, who actively patrolled the area looking for cars to tow. After residing here for five years, this incident left me shocked and frustrated and out a cool $270. Then, another incident occurred when I attempted to use the pool with my nine-year-old daughter. To my surprise, I was escorted out of the pool area because I was not listed on the lease. Despite showing my identification with the correct address to prove my residency, I was denied access. This treatment left me deeply upset and appalled. July 1st my central air conditioning stopped working and despite multiple complaints, no action has been taken to resolve the issue. As we approach September, I have been forced to purchase air conditioners for my house, adding to the mounting frustrations and expenses. We did however receive $100 off for our trouble. Throughout my five years of residing here, I have witness a steady decline in the treatment of residents. Many of my neighbors have already chosen to move out, and I am seriously considering following suit. The exorbitant cost of living in this complex is simply not justified by the lack of proper maintenance, dismissive attitudes towards residents, and constant disappointments. My experience at Steven Pond has been marred by ongoing issues and mistreatment. I sincerely hope that management takes these concerns seriously and implements necessary changes to improve the living conditions for all residents."
