"“Welcome to Chatham West, the life style you deserve!” Yeah right! I wish I could’ve rated a 0 … really the staff at Chatham are horrible, for exception of Joan who seems to really care, but is so much she can do… I understand that… there’s definitely a preference there for Cape Verdeans and Haitians, I had to quit going to the farmers market available there because they took over, they’ll bounce you off out the place like is just for them and the people in charge didn’t even care to put order, they were showed priority over the rest, not caring you was there first in line, they’ll just bounce you off, no shame, no respect… on top of that. It’s been almost three months since I left the apartment and came to stay at my daughter’s…they’re happy to collect the rent but don’t care about resolving the issue with the smoker in unit right behind my apartment, putting up all kind of excuses… like there’s not a “no-smoke policy” in place? they can’t reinforce it, or they don’t want to bother… since 10/2022 I’ve been complaining about the heavy second hand smoke and for the rest of the tenants there I t’s been even longer, many years, one even died with the problem of heavy second hand spoke not resolved, (fought it two years) I was told when I collected signatures. I sent a letter with all signatures collected to Beacon Communities LLC in Boston office back in August of 2023, but nothing happened, only vain promises, I just went to the Board of Health in Brockton, let’s see what they can do, one can’t even breath in that apartment… horrible! Tenants there with health issues, and that guy smoking none stop affecting the rest of tenants and there’s nothing no one can do even with a “smoke-free policy” in place, ridiculous!"

Its sad to see that you can get disrespected by any person from those countries and it doesnt matter what they say to you if you answer back its your fault You cant put a jumpy house in your backyard but other people can When i moved first here we never had an issue it was a quiet place"

"I've been living here since 2007, it's a nice place, but the management sucks. I needed a 3 bedroom apartment but they put me on the waiting list for 10 years. And when I got to the top of the list and they came to check my apartment, they said oops, you're not qualified to get the apartment because you're current apartment is not clean enough. It is like it needs to stay the same way you got it after 10 years. I hope they can fix this problem soon for us and everyone in the same situation."
