"We were so happy to move into Ames Hill. The apartment above us had a toilet overflow and it leaked into our entire apartment. You cannot talk to anyone on the phone, THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION! We had to temporarily move into extended stay(extra money we had to pay out) after 2 months moved back in, mold everywhere my dog got very sick and got a fungus disease in his skin, we are still paying for his vet bills. I got asthma and they never corrected the apartment the way it should have been, partial clean up was done, mold under floors, stained water marks still on the walls. Finally broke our lease we had to move, paid thousands of dollars to move out, at this point we all got sick. We will be seeking Legal Help. Tenants have rights and ours were violated. Management and maintenance is below standards for the State of Massachusetts. Please do not move here."
"$2600 a month for “luxury apartments” that has had a broken security lock on the front door for most of this year, loud and disrespectful neighbors, missing and stolen packages, mold in the showers, and now no water for going on 5 days. This place is a joke and I cannot wait to leave. Not only do I not recommend this place but I recommend running in the opposite direction."
"The staff is extremely kind and respond quickly to any issues that are brought up. They’re extremely personable and remember little things like wishing a happy birthday etc. the package system is pretty easy when the carriers follow what they are supposed to do but I don’t blame the apartment when things aren’t exactly going perfectly with the packages ( example being left out the package room but they’re still there and I don’t have much trouble locating). Any maintenance has been quick and timely. I love the community here it truly is a “home like” apartment complex. The community is great."
"Maintenance at Ames Pond Lived here x 4+ years The constant presence at this complex is John. This man knows the property, residents and works tirelessly. He coordinates 14 buildings of residents needs both minor and major repairs. He remembers past work orders, responds quickly (has to triage requests, major issues are fixed first) and if you must wait for item He updates you (during Covid supplies, appliances, etc were delayed). He stays pleasant, friendly and is always helpful. This complex would/will be in rough shape if John left or retired."
"I PAY for parking and I’m REGISTERED to park here but my car was towed anyways. The Towing company did 3,000$ worth of damage and cracked my oil pan!!! I had to pay them 250$ CASH to get my poor Certified Pre-Owned car back. I LOST a days pay at WORK. My insurance said even though tow company is at fault my premium would go up. I am currently in the process of consulting legal advice. In the meantime I am counting the days when I will be able to move out of this terrible place that has been an overall net negative on my life and put living here in the past once and for all. They also wanted to raise the rent 3,000$ after the first year of living here. 250$ a month. Are you kidding me? The Water, Sewer, Electric, Gas nothing is included on top of the 1BR rental for 2,200$. What a racket Lodge at Ames Pond is running!! This is NOT “luxury living” that is a blatant lie and false advertising. You better make sure you really want to live here and be sure to carefully read that lease because when you need help their office is either closed or they are unavailable. They will throw the lease in your face and say “you signed the lease” adding insult to injury."
