"The new owners are letting the place go. They DID upgrade the pedi chairs to massaging ones but still. Over priced and unfriendly in general. They never listen to the customers. I have to fight with the girls to not use the electric nail file across the bed of my nail as it destroys it. My friend has gotten cut the last 2 times that we went. There are better places in town to go."

"Please do not waste your time coming here. I came to get my 5 year old daughter, my mom and I all a mani pedi and of course was told she could fit us all in and maybe one of us would have to wait 10 minutes or so to get us all going. As I looked around, they were completely busy, not one worker was hands free. We ended up waiting 15-20 minutes just to get my 5 year old started. That’s when i told the lady nevermind for my mom and I. I asked where the gel wall was, my daughter grabbed two colors that looked like regular colors and the lady said we do both and I can grab the gel in the back if she picks out the original color. Anywho she seats my daughter I swear she starts to trim her nails and then add polish without doing anything else a pedicure contains. She was also getting very frustrated because my 5 year old daughter was moving a lot and ended up smudging the color. I went up to desk to pay and was told it would be 48 dollars for my daughters nails. I said excuse me? 48 dollars did she even get a pedicure or just her nails painted? And was that regular color or gel(like I asked for) ??? Did she even get a massage like a pedi comes with or just her nails painted??Then the receptionist spoke in a different language to ask the lady who handled my daughter about the pricing. She said she rubbed her legs and did the whole shebang and the color was regular color(not gel). Alright so 48 dollars for a 5 year old with regular polish ?? Oh hold on let me adjust the pricing she said and dropped it to 40..I asked her to break down the pricing which then she said 28 for her ‘pedicure’ and 10 for color on her nails which still didn’t add up. I was so annoyed after going back and forth with them, I just wanted to leave asap. I paid with my debit card and she told me it didn’t go through and to try again, I said hold up, let me check my bank to see if the payment came out, sure enough it did. I said sorry but I’m not putting my card back in there, y’all already received the payment. I placed my cash tip on the counter and some young boy, which I’m sure was part of their family, snatched it and put it aside. No thank yous were said. I cringe! I can’t get over how horrible my experience was. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO COMMUNICATION, SKETCHY PRICING, and did not make me feel welcomed. I mean the lady didn’t say a peep after I asked if she could fit us in. I’m very disappointed with this “family owned” establishment. 10/10 do not recommend. I get that the economy is absolute shi* right now but you don’t have to rip people off to make an extra few bucks."

"****EDIT*** The ownership recently changed and I am so upset. Most of the staff changed as well and now the quality is not as good as it used to be. I went in for a nail fix last week. It took THREE people and over an hour to fix a single nail- and I only get dip powder, not even extensions. The second time I went to get my nails dipped again and the technician was very sweet and great with conversation, but my nails are filed so they are leaning different directions, I have uneven coverage of the powder, and there was only two layers so you can see through them without issue. I miss having Mimi there, she was absolutely phenomenal. I've been going to Nailgic for almost 2 years and now I'm going to have to try new places. ****Original**** I've gone to Nailgic multiple times, for gel manicures, acrylic extensions, and nail art. Each time I've gone, I've been incredibly happy by the time I walk out the door. My nails always look phenomenal! They staff are all extremely lovely people. I highly recommend them for all your nail needs!"

"Edit - the quality of this manicure was absent.. They glued on press on nails and put her under a light with gel polish. 2 nails have popped off in less than a week. I dropped my teenager off for a gel manicure with tips. The nails looks great (see edit). Unfortunately she had to call me when to come in when it was time to pay; they didn't tell her that picking more than 1 color would be additional - they also charged extra to have coffin shaped nails. She paid what she had in cash to pay for the service. After figuring out why the price was more than listed on the appointment confirmation I asked to switch to a credit card payment because I didnt have cash on me for a tip.. They told me she already paid in cash and I couldnt change the form of payment and could only tip via venmo if I didn't have cash. Like I said the nails look great it's unfortunate that their communication about extra charges wasn't."
