"If you care about your pet, or your time do not go to this veterinary clinic. First our vet Dr. Misty Sell retired, and they didnt feel compelled to let us know this information. Following her retirement there has been nothing but poor experiences. First I show up to a scheduled appointment, and waited in the lobby for 20 minutes. They then told me sorry we had a scheduling error and dont have you in... Meanwhile they called me the day before to confirm (Sure honest mistake if done once). We reschduled, and then I am waiting in the lobby again this time for 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment, and when I asked how much longer? They couldn't give me an honest answer/estimated time. This place is trash. They dont care enough to let you know about a change in doctor, your time, and quite frankly your pet. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Plenty of other Vets who care in the area."

"As of early 2023, Dr. Sell, the reason behind all of the 1 star reviews you will read about, has left the practice. Since then, there has been a dramatic increase in the level of care provided at Charlestown Veterinary Hospital. Dr Ramsey takes more time with each patient and I do not feel dismissed when I bring my dog in for various reasons. The recommendations and care the new team provides is thorough and effective. The front desk team is courteous, knowledgeable, and I have never had an issue getting an appointment as an existing customer. Hopefully anyone who sorts reviews by "Most Recent" will see this before judging the practice based on previous owners. I am happy to have them as my vet."

"The staff and vets always treat my pup kindly, but they are very busy so it takes a long time to get appointments as well as test results."

"I took my cat here from another vet. The veterinarian here told me things the previous vet didn't about my cats possible food allergies, and explained how the previous treatment probably wasn't the best course of action. Since then, we got my cat on a special diet and she's the happiest ever! The price is right here's the staff is great, and they have a very loveable orange cat who will hang out with you in the waiting room!"
