"No honest people in management and tenants get mad when you live on the 2nd floor units. Would highly not recommend living here!"
"Worst management ever. They made up fees and added things to the lease that we didn’t sign for. When management did our initial move out inspection we were told, “just some fresh paint and a carpet cleaning should be fine.” Less then 24 hours before moving out they gave us a massive list of things we needed to do. Of course we got them done. We now are responsible for paying over $1000 to replace the carpets. We lived here for 3 years, and the carpets have normal wear and tear. We were told the carpet has a 7 year life span and this is year 6. So why are WE paying for a new carpet. The property manager is the one moving into our unit, we are being taken advantage of. Paying close to $1400 a month and now we’re not getting a deposit back because they do what they want. 0/10, do not live here."
"Their leasing office has no concern for laws. Their leases are filled with illegal clauses; they claim to charge 5% for late fees when NY capped this fee at 3% or $50, whichever is least, tried to claim they signed us up for a second year when we didn't give a 120 days notice and then tried to force us to pay extra three months (both illegal) when we gave them 30 days notice so when I called them out for all their scams they then took out $1225.38 from our security deposit for a "sticky substance on carpet" (100% made up) without telling us or giving us notice to fix it ourselves and they won't respond or send proof (again all illegal). The icing on the cake is that I did a walkthrough with their leasing office and signed a form at the end with no noted discrepancies because the apartment was in perfect condition! They then send me the deposit with $225 taken out to "professionally clean," $250 for "removal and disposal fee," and $750.38 to "replace carpet and pad (pro-rated)" lol, for a total of $1225.38. This crew is a bunch of (failed) scam artist. Anyways I will provide the pictures of the apartment when lawsuit is finished but NY law requires them to pay my legal fees and "up to twice the security deposit" so joke is defiantly on them."
"If I could give zero stars I would. This place is beyond sketchy. Everything from the 1st walk through to my move out was a nightmare. When my fiancé and I went to look at apartments they originally showed us one that they stated was $1375 a month, when it came to signing the paperwork they tried charging us $1475 and stated that was the original price we were told. After denying and speaking with one of the two owners (mind you they split due to differences) we got the price to the quoted $1375. When it came to pets they needed a $500 non refundable deposit per pet and required that we needed to register them with the town of Brunswick. These places are built so fast that of the stuff needed to get fixed within the first month of us living there. Doors would not stay locked and needed to be fixed, windows were broken before moving in. The fire place didn’t have a blower fan and due to how the apartment is set up (electric and cable were above fireplace) it’s required that a tv is mounted over the fireplace. With no blower installed it caused heat marks on my tv and they refused to do anything about it. The maintenance workers are unprofessional, rude and don’t even bother to attempt to take off disgusting dirty boots and get dirt/mud all over the carpets. Basically at the end of the day they always had something to complain about. When it came to moving out we accidentally left a few things behind including a small 3 basket rollable storage bin. When we went to go get it back everything was taken from it and was missing one of the baskets. When asked about it the woman in the office said they had no idea what I was talking about, but before moving out they were always questioning us about when we were getting out and basically made it feel like they wanted us out. Would not recommend this place at all. Waste of money and a huge headache"
