"I am not one for writing reviews but I have to because my time here was amazing. I lived here for two years and absolutely loved it. Kathy in the leasing office is always available to help or answer questions and is super friendly. Any of the maintenance men are helpful and kind when you need help with anything. I had no issues living there and the space is beautiful and clean. They also keep up with the lawn very well so it looks good every day. Also, location is great. You are ten minutes from Albany, Troy, Cohoes, etc. and even closer to other areas like Watervliet and Greenbush. Being in the center makes going to any spot a short drive. Would definitely recommend living here if you can!"
"I'm not sure what happened to all of the reviews I read about this location before I moved in, they were very helpful. I'll try to say what I can now I've moved out. Overall I was happy with my stay. I lived here about a year and a half. They do increase your rent each time you renew your contract, so I might not recommend staying more than a year or two. I felt safe living there, as it's near the police department. Never had an issue with safety or theft or car damage, which was the main reason I chose this location over others. However it's also RIGHT next to the train tracks and when you first move in it'll wake you up in the night, but you adjust to it. Never had an issue with parking, was always able to find a spot. Apartment was clean, though it's obvious they've painted several layers over everything when residents change. I never had much of an issue with insects, but I did live on the top floor so I can't vouch for the basement apartments. I only had a small issue with bees for a week but it cleared up by patching some cracks in the window. The place is sprayed for insects fairly often. It's a bit of a pain walking a lot of groceries or moving in with large furniture up the flights of stairs, but you can park right outside the back of the apartment. The whole place isn't very handicap accessible, and I don't recommend it if you have any mobility issues with stairs. There is no dishwasher or sink disposal, so dishes have to be washed by hand and you have to clean out the drain filter after. The fridge was new and clean, no ice maker. Every other apartment has a communal laundry room that's fairly affordable. Something they don't tell you when you move in is you'll need a window AC unit--the apartment has no internal AC. You can buy a window AC at Walmart during summer. There is internal heating, but I never personally used it since it runs along the baseboards and I was nervous about a fire hazard with my furniture being where it was. All in all it was a quiet place and I never had trouble with neighbors. They do a fairly good job keeping the lot shoveled and salted when it's snowing, but expect to still slide around a bit in winter and get some dang good tires. The woman who ran the front desk (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) was fantastic and incredibly helpful and cheerful every time I had to go see her, and she was always willing to answer my questions. She did a lot to help us figure things out when we moved in and when we moved out, and the one time I had a billing issue with rent. I never felt nervous going to see her, she made us feel at home. I did get my full deposit back when I moved out, and I feel like that's the norm as long as you don't damage the place."
