"They understand "hair", they take time to understand "you", they are courteous and warm. That's about the staff from the reception to your stylist to the supplemental helpers. The place is always clean, well maintained, it helps that it's in a nice location, but, it isn't so much my criteria in rating them 5 star. Of course, they are many good salons in Boston. This one checks all the boxes in primary requirements for a salon. It's not about fads and buzz words in their service. It's the depth of understanding of hair and people. For about 10 years and couple different salons (each were good, just did not give me creative options). They had cookie cutter suggestions which gave me a good hair cut, but it was standard - plain jane type. At Bradley and Diegel, my stylist Maite, has given me 2 distinctly different and new looks in two years. Greg at the reception, took time to understand my needs and recommend the right stylist to me. Each time is a great experience. They never push products on you."

"If you want the best haircut of your life, your man is Dirk. Dirk can do anything well....edgy new style or classic but updated look. For me, he cuts a very precise, short haircut that is so refined and perfect that people at work notice and ask me about....these are people who wouldn't notice if I collapsed on the floor. What's more impressive is that his work is consistently flawless. He never has a bad day and I have known Dirk for about two decades. The salon is absolutely immaculate, the rest of the staff is polite and friendly (but not overly so) and products used are top shelf. Dirk and staff have done an excellent job complying with guidelines for the virus. Try him once and you'll be a steady customer."

"We saw the sign which welcomed walk-ins... so we walked in to arrange 2 appointments. We were able to get a pre-appointment consult with Alan who was our appointed hair specialist for the appintment we made for the next day. Great service, beautiful people, ALAN was the BEST hair specialist ever encountered in my short life ;) He did our color and hair cut, this was really an amazing experience with someone who new his hair business. I came out with a different style as what I initially wanted but oh so glad I listened to his PROFESSIONAL CREATIVE INSTINCT! Thank you Alan and to B&D staff!"
