Full blown hair design and children's salon

"The first appointment we made she canceled when we arrived and had texted her she said she was sick and had to reschedule, we understood and rescheduled the following week. The next appointment was great and I really liked the haircut she gave my son, which is why I gave her the extra star, we tried to book another appointment and the morning of texted that she was at the emergency vet all night, like other comments unfortunately I just don’t believe her. It’s really too bad she’s so unreliable because she actually does great work."

"I enjoyed my service at full blown hair design. I highly recommend it! Shannon is not only super accommodating but very professional. The salon is super clean and neat. If you have little ones this is a perfect salon for your children as they have a little kid side. I got to enjoy a delivery from a local food shop while getting my hair done. My extensions came out amazing, not only did she blend the color perfectly but I love the style. It’s definitely worth the 40 minute drive for me! If you are more of a person who loves 1 on 1 service this is definitely the place! I will for sure be back for any services!"

"I read through all the reviews and figured I would give her a chance as some reviews state she does great work. I drove over 30 minutes there only to arrive to doors locked and lights shut off. I texted Shannon who texted back right away that she was at a wake and forgot about our appointment. If this is true, i am sorry for your loss. However I am questioning if this is even true based off others stating she is consistently late, has to reschedule for whatever reason, and mixes up her excuses. She offered to give us 50% off however driving over an hour there and back is not worth $14.00. I was looking forward to this appointment for my child however it seems like there is a pattern here. I would not recommend."

"We have not been able to find a salon to fit my youngest sons needs until today. I’m so impressed with Shannon. This is the first time my son did not cry getting his hair cut. We will not be going anywhere else! My oldest started going to the barber with his father and he hated it because they shaved all his hair off and couldn’t do what he wanted. Shannon is perfect and listens to your needs & kid’s needs/wants. Both my children are so happy and I can’t thank her enough! 10/10 would recommend :)"

"Sharon was all over the place and not in a good way. Kept ensuring me she understood how to handle children with special needs, and yet kept switching appointment times despite me explaining how important keeping my 3 year old’s routine is for him. On top of changing our appointment time 3 times the day of the session (I told her it was fine to reschedule) she insisted she would be there before our cut off time at 12:30. She didn’t arrive until 12:45 and immediately confused me with another one of her clients. She was frazzled, unorganized and seemed to be acting erratic. I told her twice I didn’t think using buzzers would be good for my sons sensory processing disorder. She insisted they were better to use. Ended up with an uneven haircut and a cut on my sons ear to which she replied “that’s normal it will fade.” My son ended up having a panic attack in her chair after me asking her to take a break. She tried to insist that he did way better than other kids she’s seen and that she’s “seen kids be 10x worse” Not an ideal response for someone who supposedly works and specializes in cutting hair for children with disabilities. Do not bring your child here."
