"The feel when you walk in to vivis in unlike any other. There's a feel of home that you can't really explain. She's a down to earth woman who takes pleasure in what she does. She's thorough as well as quick. My hair is down to my shoulders and it came out quicker than expected (I got full head box braids) and I was not at all disappointed. Believe me I'm VERY picky about who does my hair but I am far from disappointed on how it came out. Her prices are better than you'll find in other "mainstream" salons (whatever that means) and it's worth the trip. If you want your hair done, GO TO VIVI'S. I promise you won't be disappointed. "When my regular stylist was out I couldn't find ANYONE open on a Sunday let alone to do some cornrows up for me! I look up on Google and behold!! I find vivi's!! I called at 9:30 and after a brief explanation of my situation she was ready to see me! I love about 1.5hrs away but she was able to fit me in no problem! Her business is not a small shop on the middle of a town square but I'm her home which made me feel welcome and relaxed vs being in a room full of people I don't know! She was very welcoming and soft spoken and was able to give me a style that will last, her braids are nice and tight but not TOO tight... I will definitely make the trip again and would recommend her to anyone who needs to get their hair done! Not sure what other hairstyles or services she provides but MEN!!
