"LOVE this salon! I see Victoria and she always does a great job. I first went to try to lighten my hair after dying it red with box dye (silly, I know). She did a strip test and explained to me that the dye wouldn’t lift enough to show any real change, then gave me the option of darkening my hair to one solid color, or just leaving it and getting a trim. I chose to get it a little darker and cut off the dead ends, and she did a beautiful job! The prices are a little high compared to what I’m used to, but it’s worth it to have beautiful hair that I can be proud of. It’s such a relief to know that there is a high-quality salon in our small town of Keene. HIGHLY recommend!"

"I booked a consultation on a whim with this studio knowing nothing about them. Due to receiving chemo, losing parts of my hair at the radiation site (not all), and having personal self-image issues with my scalp and various hair lengths from the cancer treatment- I was nervous and embarrassed. After being just over a year out from this, I decided it was time to put forward some faith. Christina made me feel heard, validated, and comfortable at the consult. Flash forward to my appointment last week; she hit it out of the park. Christina made me feel beautiful and lifted my spirits that had been deflated for some time. "I was introduced to the Salon because a friend was getting married, had asked me to be in her bridal party as a bridesmaid, and she had contracted with them to come to the venue on the wedding day and style our hair and provide makeup application. At the beginning of this year, I decided to pursue my truth in life and identify as a Transgender Female and have begun social and medical transition from male to female. I wanted to be sure that the stylists could work some magic and create a beautiful hairstyle and makeup look. I was told by the bride that the Salon was very welcoming and embraced the Transgender community. I made an appointment a few weeks before the wedding for a trial run. Everyone was welcoming, and supportive of me. Victoria was my stylist and I was pleased to learn that she would be at the venue on the wedding day. She did an absolutely amazing job on me. After an hour and a half, I left the salon with a beautiful hairstyle and lovely, but natural looking makeup application. One of the other stylists, Lish, jumped in to help with color correction on my face. They both were kind, funny and totally put me at ease. The wedding day hair and makeup went perfectly as I had Victoria to work with again and since I had gone in a few weeks earlier, she knew exactly what she was going to do. I felt like a princess all day and received numerous compliments on my appearance. I plan on going back in a few weeks to have my hair done in a more feminine hairstyle for day to day living and to help affirm my transition journey. "I posted a review prior about the owner totally botching my hair and then refusing to refund me so I can have it fixed and being unprofessional and sending rude emails to me but just wanted to add photos after having SO many people look at my hair. And after hearing quite a few bad stories about this salon, particularly the owner, I think people need to know what you’re getting when you go here. obvious banding and bleed marks and CLEAR that the color was not left on long enough. So disappointed by the whole experience. Will never go back!!"
