"Went with a group who were attending a wedding, NOT the bridal party. Arrived on a Saturday morning at 10:30 during the regular business hours we did have appointments. I had my shoulder length hair blown out, which took a total of about 20 minutes. I was shocked when I was charged $85 for the service. I was told that day that this was their standard fee for a blowout. When I just called today to check, I was told that it was $55. My seven year old niece had her hair braided and it had to be redone at the hotel because it was falling out. My sister had her hair blown out and she also had to fix it at the hotel. For those prices the styles should’ve been perfect with no need for us to correct their work. If they were going to charge extra because we were a group coming in, we should’ve been notified."

"I have been going to Salon 255 for years. Barbara is my hair stylist and she is the great. All of the people there are friendly and it's a comfortable salon."

"As someone new to this area and immuno compromised, I was looking for a stylist willing to wear a mask while working on me. I was assured this would not be a problem when I set my appointment with Spring. I have short hair and get it cut dry. No shampooing or styling needed. My cut takes around 15 minutes. First appointment went fine. Then over the course of the next 4 cuts I had to ask her to wear a mask. She made a big deal about it, but reluctantly would wear one. Today she told me this would be the last time she would wear one. Her work was average, I got 3 pretty good cuts and 2 that were not great. She said “It’s not personal” as I was leaving today. Wrong. It’s VERY personal and incredibly disrespectful. If you have health issues like I do and don’t think it’s worth dying over a haircut, save yourself some grief and public humiliation and look elsewhere."

"I get my hair done by spring who is the owner. She does amazing work. She is always professional but when i get my hair done she always talks to you and makes you feel like friend. Her salon and awards make me feel like there aren't enough stars on this page to rate her and her salon as well as the other employees that have done my hair."

"Typically I only get massages while on vacation, however since I just had a baby I figured I deserved it! I’ve only lived in Coxsackie for 4 years and I don’t have much experience with the salons/spas around here. I took a chance and scheduled a massage with Maureen. My expectations were high given that I usually only spring for a massage at a hotel where you pay an arm and a leg, but Maureen delivered! One of the best massages I’ve ever had, I even fell asleep for a moment. She paid close attention to tense areas, was professional, friendly, and personable. I will definitely be getting more massages outside of being on vacation!"
