"5 stars doesn’t seem like enough to THANK these wonderful, loving workers who cared for my 1 yo Barney (Golden Retriever). I had a major surgery to my knee and needed to board him from a Thurs to a Monday. I was sent pictures of Barney every day!! I signed up Barney for extra activities and a bath so he would be very happy while his mom was away… I cried when I dropped him off and cried when I picked him up! He is my baby - I have no children. Old Derby Inn ROCKS. Everyone is so loving and truly cares about each animal they are taking care of!! I very highly recommend and would happy to be a reference for anyone thinking of utilizing their services!!"

"Old Derby Animal Hospital must be your vet if it isn't already. We were blessed enough to have chosen them when we rescued our pup Thea in February 2022. We were new dog owners and called them immediately to schedule an appointment for Thea. They scheduled us for the same week and walked us through a few tips before our appointment. We were assigned Doctor Butler and were glad we were. He is very personable and professional and helped us get Thea acclimated to her new home. He also recommended certain books to read and how to train Thea to ensure she was ready for our newborn that we were expecting in September. Yes, a brand-new puppy and baby boy in the same year. However, it was less stressful because we had Dr. Butler and Old Derby Animal Hospital in our corner. Since then, we have been to the vet many times and have never had any issues with treatment or checkups. We have never waited more than ten minutes in the waiting room, and all of the, front desk receptionists, techs and doctors we have seen have been very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, about three times, we had to schedule Thea for an emergency visit. They were able to squeeze us in the same week each time. Old Derby continues to exceed our expectations.
