"I received the worst customer service from employee KELLEY she is rude unprofessional every time I shopped in this location she always rude never smiling, I was waiting for her to open for me an item 15 minutes the ithem is on sale 75% off when she comes she moved the ithem to next and on front of me and she said is not on sale, but anyway the ithem was on sale but what she did is not acceptable and it’s illegal she is not professional rude always not happy never smiling"
"I had my flu shot scheduled this morning at 7… Floor in the mini clinic needed to be vacuumed so bad, but that’s nothing compared with the pharmacist vaccine technique…. I am a health care professional, I know how an IM injection has to be done. That pharmacist James F. needs some training in how to administer a vaccine… he held the syringe like darts, went way up above the deltoid muscle, I am sure he hit the bone, did not hold the arm when giving the shot…. Ugh bad experience"
"The pharmacy on Southern Artery Quincy is a complete dumpster fire. I will preface this with the fact that this could corporate understaffed them, however as a healthcare, professional, I feel acting professionally and taking care of your customers is paramount, regardless of staffing or corporate issues. I now have two stories now about poor experiences at this particular CVS. 1. My son, who has a disability, had his meds refilled here and they is overcharged him by not billing his secondary insurance. When I called, they said well it just didn’t go through so this is what you have to pay. My wife, a nurse psychotherapist, and myself a psychotherapist both went in on multiple occasions and were treated extremely rudely and unprofessionally. I spoke to the pharmacy, manager who said it wasn’t their job to make sure insurance was billed correctly. We then moved my son’s meds and ours elsewhere. 2. The second story my sister-in-law‘s dog has diabetes went there thinking it was only going to be under $50 a month as stated by her vet. Southern Artery CVS told her it was $170 for insulin and needles. She is undergoing cancer treatment and this is a lot for her and she considered putting her dog down due to this misinformation. The vet assured her that it should not be any more than $50. She suggested we go to Walmart. I went to Walmart in Quincy they were fantastically professional and extremely helpful and rather than $170 we paid $37.46, almost 5 times less than what CVS Southern Artery would have charged us. I’m not a fan of Walmart, but I will say that the pharmacy folks in Quincy are amazing. CVS on Southern Artery is a NO GO zone get your meds elsewhere CVS in braintree is terrific which makes me think this is a Southern Artery CVS issue not a CVS as a whole issue The sad thing to me is for years we went to the CVS on Southern a Artery all the staff knew us we knew them. They were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. At this point they seem to not care whatsoever about their patients which we all are they only want to get stuff out the door. They do not care if they overcharge people who are unable to figure out that they are being overcharged in the downstream effects for underprivileged, elderly or disabled, people could be catastrophic. To the manager of the pharmacy at Southern artery shame on you as a therapist my first order of business is to take care of my patients. The people that privilege you by using you as their pharmacy, are your patients, you should be taking care of them not taking advantage of them."
"I call today around 10:15 am about getting temporary medication for 3 day because cvs Caremark didn’t get info for my medication with the transfer from express scripts. Express scripts doesn’t carry our insurance anymore. The pharmacy tech put me on hold to call Caremark and hung up on me 15 minutes later. He was very rude to me and didn’t not listen. I know who he is and he is always rude. After he hung up I called back and a woman answered. I asked her why the guy hung up on me and she acted like she did know who I talked to and she lied because he jumped on the phone and said he was on hold with Caremark. I asked him why he hung up on me after being on hold for 15 minutes and he said “look i have Caremark on hold.” He is horrible and has no people skills and starts off rude and acts like he is being bothered and gives quick answers without listening like he is rushing you off the phone. Im reading a lot of complaints about I believe to be the same guy. What do you do about how he treats his customers. He does not represent cvs pharmacy in a good way. Lot of complaints about the same thing. What is done about him?"
"The definition of a greedy corporate company that doesn’t give a flip about the community they take over. Rude Pharmacy employees, never have medications in stock, lie about when prescriptions are ready, 3-4 days wait time and longer if they don’t have it! I was forced over from Baxter’s Pharmacy when CVS bought them out. Horrible experiences one after the other. Nothing like a family owned pharmacy. I’m done! I’d rather drive to Olden’s in south Weymouth from now on. So long CVS! One less sucker you had!"
