"The staff here is really amazing, my chihuahua Lola went in for a double ear surgery due to an ear disease. Unfortunately Lola lost way more blood than expected & her heart stopped mid surgery. Doctor Davis called me immediately and warned me of the situation & told me the team was trying everything to restart her heart. She then called me about 5 minutes later to tell me everything they had done (further precautions etc) & that the CPR was successful. Doctor Davis is so kind and personable and treated my Lola like her own. I thanked her so much & she told me that I should especially thank the emergency team, I don’t have their names but thank you to the emergency team- thank you so so so much. Every staff member has done everything they can to keep me updated & to make sure Lola is safe. I can’t thank everyone enough for all they have done & continue to do for her. -Victoria"

"If I could give this place zero stars I would! They are absolutely useless! They were too short staffed to see us but told us they’d triage our dog to see if treatment was necessary tonight. We waited two hours for them to then tell us that a dog had come in an hour earlier with bloat so they now would not be able to see us, and they were very busy and only had one doctor and one nurse. There was not another single soul in the place except the dog with bloat who came in an hour after us. Don’t bother going here unless you want to waste your time and maybe still have your pet get no assistance what so ever! This place should not be allowed to be open."

"Thank you to all the staff at VCA South Shore Weymouth that took such amazing care of my cat Bandit last week! My three year old cat Bandit went from seeming completely normal one day to a very sick cat the next. After being initially assessed at Vet Urgent Care Plymouth and finding out he had a low heart rate, low blood pressure, was anemic and had bleeding in abdomen, when asked which animal hospital I wanted to take him, there was no question in my mind that he was going to VCA Weymouth. I have always received great care here! And knew he would be in good hands. From the moment I arrived, I had a team waiting to rush him back immediately and got initial assessments done. They were upfront about the costs and kept me informed of everything that was going on. He was ultimately diagnosed with a very severe acute pancreatitis. Spent two nights getting world class vet care and the best cuddles from the team! Came home after two nights and has been back to his normal self, eating well and playing with his fur brother Myles. Bandit, Myles and I cannot thank everyone enough for all they did!!! I truly believe the awesome care he received is why he is still with us!!! You all are TRULY THE BEST!! THANK YOU!!! "We had a wonderful experience here! Our primary vet was not able to handle what was going on with our 10 year old Siamese so they sent us here and everyone was wonderful. We were seen quickly, they answered all of our questions, and they took such great care of Kitty. Dr. Lopes went above and beyond and even called me the next day from home with test results and her recommendations. Kitty is now on the road to recovery because of them and I will forever be grateful for how we were all treated. We will use them again if we have have any type of emergency for both my cat and dog. Thank you, VCA Weymouth! The whole team was incredible!"

"Thank you so much for providing emergency care for Luna after the fire. We are completely and utterly devastated, but because of the efforts of the amazing staff we were able to hold her paw and tell her she was a good girl before she crossed the rainbow bridge. Every.Single.Staffmember exhibited empathy and compassion during what was one of the lowest and saddest points in our lives. It's obvious that the staff is extremely passionate about the welfare of the animals in their care. I cannot recommend this hospital enough."
