"I've been coming here for nearly 20 years. There have been many different veterinarians that have examined my animals during that time. All of the vets that I dealt with are kind and non-judgmental. They provide many recommendations and options, even the ones that are not so positive, and help you make choices that are best for you and your pet. I'm not sure if they're taking new patients but if they are, I would definitely give them a call."
"I had my cat groomed. I was very pleased with how he looked. He seemed calm and at ease afterwards."
"Great customer service. Love how they interact with our fur babies and Dr. It's really nice. The clinic is always clean. Your appt is pretty much on time."
"I wish I could give them negative stars. Today I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Swansea Veterinary Center, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. As a pet owner with three cats, I had been taking all of them to this clinic, hoping for reliable and compassionate care. Sadly, my encounters with this establishment have consistently left much to be desired. One of the recurring issues I faced was the unprofessionalism displayed by the front desk staff. They often seemed rude and dismissive, showing little regard for the concerns of pet owners. It was disheartening to witness such a lack of basic customer service skills, considering the sensitive and emotional nature of veterinary visits. However, my most recent visit surpassed all previous disappointments, reaching an all-time low. I had scheduled an appointment for a pregnancy test for one of my cats. When I made the appointment, the staff failed to inquire about the last time my cat was in heat. Consequently, when I arrived for the scheduled procedure, they realized it had been less than a month since her last heat cycle, rendering the test inconclusive. I wasted a significant amount of time and money on a fruitless visit, all due to their lack of attention to detail and failure to gather relevant information during the appointment confirmation process. It was a clear display of their incompetence and lack of knowledge. To add insult to injury, the wait time at Swansea Veterinary Center was excruciatingly long. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30, and I arrived promptly at 10:20. However, by 11:05, my name had not been called, while others with later appointments had already been seen and checked out. When I approached the front desk to inquire about the delay, the response I received was shockingly unhelpful and unsympathetic. The staff member casually suggested that I reschedule, completely disregarding my frustration and the fact that I had already waited for nearly an hour. It was a clear indication of their lack of concern for their clients' time and well-being. To my utter disbelief, the person I spoke to at the front desk turned out to be the manager of the clinic. This revelation only deepened my disappointment in the establishment. It raised questions about the professionalism and competence of the clinic's management and ownership. How could anyone with such a careless and unhelpful attitude be entrusted with a position of authority? After enduring an hour-long wait, I decided to cancel all three of my cats' appointments and promptly switched to City Kitty in Providence. As a business owner myself, I value professionalism and exceptional service. Swansea Veterinary Center fell far short of these standards, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend them to any pet owner who truly cares about the well-being of their beloved companions. With Swansea Veterinary Center was nothing short of a nightmare. The consistently rude front desk staff, the lack of attention to detail, the excessively long wait time, and the unhelpful response from the manager all contributed to an overall sense of frustration and disappointment. Save yourself the stress and anguish by steering clear of this vet clinic and seeking care for your pets elsewhere."
"Well I had to bring my girl back in. It was time to let her go..... Swansea veterinary center has to be the nicest, most comfortable, most friendly place to take your fur baby when it's time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. They are so reasonably priced and told you everything up front. This place comes highly recommended. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Cocoa"
