Marco's Restaurant 47 Newbury Street, Peabody, MA 01960

"11/10/23: Stayed at the Hampton Inn just down the road and Marco’s was recommended. Our party of 3 arrived just before 7pm. The restaurant has dark windows so it’s not obvious that they are opened. Free parking. It was busy but not overly. We were seated in the back of the dining area where there were humongous wine bottles lined up . The tables were a little cramped, but the atmosphere was nice. Our waitress, Kleydisa, was cordial and professional. The complimentary fresh bread came with three dipping options. We favored one over the others. Ordered their Margharita pizza, Lasagna, and Cheese Ravioli with red sauce. All were good. No salads came with our meals. We also got 3 coppa Gelato. Best part of the meal."

"We were told to sit at the middle table, took 15 minutes to take a drink order and an additional 30+ minutes to be asked for our food order, however, we had not received menus. One order came out 10 minutes before the other two orders. The pizza was undercooked, the gnocchi was overcooked and mushy, and the chicken parmesan was over cooked and had no taste. Sincerely disappointed and will not come back."

"Found this gem by chance. They were open fairly late on a Sunday (until 10pm) so we wondered in hungry at 850pm and were served promptly. The food was delicious! Great portions, great presentation and FRESH. The rice balls were some of the best I’ve had and the lobster ravioli was incredible. Service was amazing, our waitress was attentive and didn’t rush us although we came in late and the tiramisu was top 5 I’ve had yet! Cannot wait to come back to Marco’s."

"Staying at a hotel nearby this restaurant was recommended, and after eating here, I can see why. Very friendly staff, limited seating but you can eat at the bar. I would recommend making a reservation. We were fortunate to be able to sit at the bar, but the place was packed. The free bread was tasty and had a dish with 3 different dips to use. The food portions are very good, everything tasted fresh. Nice atmosphere with tvs showing local sports but not too loud where it drowns out conversations. I would definitely recommend this place for a drink or a meal."

"Came in town for work and the hotel is right next door. Decided to give them a try from the reviews and pics shared on Google and was glad I did. The space is gorgeous inside and very clean. I did not catch his name, but the gentleman that helped me was amazing. I went with his dinner recommendations and got the fried calamari to start and the linguini with clams and red sauce. The serving was huge and there were tons of clams (20-30). Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was to die for. He even brought me some more bread so I could wipe the bowl clean. If you're in the area and want some legit Italian food for lunch or dinner, I can't recommend these guys enough. Wish I was in town longer so I could work my way through the entire menu.
