Fresh Catch

"The Fresh Catch restaurant in Mansfield was very very good food wise. The seafood platter that I had was awesome. It came complete with a fairly large fillet, both whole clams and clam strips, deep sea scallops and shrimp. It was also a good amount of onion rings and French fries. The seafood and onion rings were both lightly, golden fried. We did take home the highly touted carrot cake, do not waste your time on this blanding overly sweet dessert that taste nothing like carrot cake. I rated the service 4 as our waitress also doubled as the barmaid. On a couple different occasions we had to wait for our waitress to come by. I didn't find the atmosphere very appealing as there wasn't really any ambiance to speak of. Also, when we walked in, they sat us right next to another table with two couples sitting at it when there were plenty of other empty tables in which to be seated. If they had sat us one table over; there would have been nobody on either side of us and would have afforded us more privacy. In restaurants for me, the food is the most important part in this food is awesome. Stick to the seafood and you won't go wrong. I would absolutely visit here again no questions asked. "Nice place but very deceiving from the outside. Nice friendly wait staff quite a few good options on their menu so I went with the shrimp scampi and it didn't disappoint. Large shrimp and great sauce not overally garlicky where some places go heavy on it just the right amount. Definitely will be going back to try something else next time."

"Went here with a party of 4, we ordered makimo sushi combo, lobster ravioli, fried fish tacos, pan seared halibut with lobster sauce. We also ordered crab rangoons and they did not disappoint. The food was delish, this was my first time trying lobster ravioli and I loved it. The pan seared halibut was a special on the menu for the season. Service was great, I’d highly recommend if you are looking for places that serve lobster dishes and other seas food as well."

"The jumbo lobster roll special was amazing, very soft lobster and a huge portion, overflowing from the roll. Not chewy or stringy at all. Whole belly fried clams had zero grittiness to them. Dare I say this place has better seafood than Woodman's of Essex. This is a must-go-to place. Presentation of the food was great, service was attentive, and food was very, very good. Slightly cold interior, bring a light jacket. Worth it."
